Andrew Melvin is the Senior Director and Designer for Shipton Design Ltd with over 25 years of experience within Architecture & Design. He has in-depth theoretical knowledge of design and
construction combined with extensive implementation experience.
During his time in the profession he has been responsible for developing and monitoring a large number of contracts for residential and retail clients. Using a combination of his design skills and
practical abilities he has successfully completed a wide range of projects in the United Kingdom, Europe and North America. His breadth of experience covers a wide spectrum of design
including retail and historic building restoration. His main specialty lies within residential design, with a large number of house designs carried through from initial brief through all stages
and finishing with the client taking possession.
Recently Andrew has also previously been a visiting critic at Birmingham City University.
